I'm really sorry for the lack of updates this past 6 months , reason being , i was on a hiatus .
And , so sorry guys , i will be on hiatus till the end of 2011 .

Its not confirmed whether she would be attending the Costume Tryout on 3rd January , but it is confirmed she would be back on 4th January for Shiseido Press Conference .

Charmaine Films Forensic Heroes 2 In The Rain

Charmaine Sheh, Yoyo Mung, Bobby Au Yeung, Frankie Lam, and Ben Wong Chi Yin filmed a rain scene for "Forensic Heroes 2" 《法政先鋒II》in Yuen Long. It was Charmaine's last chance to meet up with narcotics undercover agent, Ben Wong. Since Ben worked as an informer, he was killed brutally by the narcotics kingpin.

Charmaine wore a fuschia evening dress and high heels to attend a wedding. However she received Ben's phone call. In order to get to the crime scene quicker, she ripped off the skirt of her long dress.

"This pink dress is from my private collection. It is difficult to find a dress that fits and contains fabric that is easy to shred. Since I have already worn this dress once before, I didn't mind sacrificing it for the scene."

Charmaine did not mind sacrificing her own dress. "There is not much use for it at home. Also the fuschia color is not very popular lately."

Yoyo Mung Ka Wai said she will not be celebrating rumored boyfriend, Ekin Cheng's 40th birthday on October 4th. Did Yoyo bake a cake or give him other gifts? Yoyo said, "I have not considered it. Work comes first."

How about having a birthday dinner with Ekin? "He has his own friends to celebrate with."

Forensic Heroes 2 Cast Celebrates Charmaine Sheh's Birthday

TVB series [Forensic Heroes 2] held a promotional event yesterday afternoon. As the event is water theme, most of the actors were topless while some of the actresses wore sexy swimwear such as Shirley Yeung, Shermon Tang, Vivien Yeo etc. However, the lead actresses Charmaine Sheh and Yoyo Mung chose a more conservative style. Even though Charmaine covered her bikini with a T-shirt, she remains the center of attention as it was her birthday yesterday. Stephen Huynh was late to the event, therefore they urged him to give Charmaine a birthday kiss.

Charmaine laughed and said that she did wear bikini (cantonese slang for bikini means '3 dots'), and her shorts are full of polka 'dots'. When asked if other actresses stole the attention by wearing sexy swimsuit, Charmaine said she did not pay attention as she is not a guy. Instead she really wanted to see Bobby Au in Speedo with his round belly so she was disappointed that he didn't attend today.

When reporters point out that she is the most sexy today, Shirley smiled and thanked them for complimenting her figure. Shirley also made some safety precaution on her swimsuit earlier. In the series, Shirley portrays a girl with the face of an angel but the heart of a devil. She also indicates that there are plenty of fiery scenes between her and Charmaine. When asked if they get along, she said that they are ok and their chemistry is much better after [Angels of Mission 3D]. When Charmaine was asked about her scenes with Shirley, she said that everyone have plenty of interesting scenes in the series.

Mentioning of the rumor of TVB selling off stake, Charmaine expressed that Uncle Six (Sir Run Run Shaw) is a good boss and the company have always been operating smoothly therefore she hope there won't be any changes. She joked that maybe they should give assurance by increasing the salary.

During the game session the male cast members pulled Vivien into the water. Afterward she covered her face with the towel and they thought she was crying. Vivien later explained that she's not crying but because her contact lens was almost flushed off by the water. Regarding being pulled into the water by the guys, she laughed: "Maybe I have terrible social relationship! (Why are you avoiding sexy image today?) I'm a conservative person! Plus, Charmaine is the real star today, so I shouldn't steal the limelight." Vivien said that she is not always dressed sexily.

Producer Mui Siu Ching punished the guys by having them lined up and kicked into the water by the girls.

Charmaine Sheh filed to high court lately, accusing editor Ai Sey Hoi from "3 Weekly" and the magazine's company. The magazine's cover story on this year's February 11 was "Charmaine Sheh and Moses Chan secretly meeting each other, Bernice Liu caught them in hotel." Because the content has elements of libel, so she requests an injunction from court , prohibiting the magazine to publish related comment again, and she also requests compensation from defendant.

Wah Fu Yan got more involved with Roger (one-sided ) as she believes in everything Joel (Law-wei) said to her .
She decided to elope with Roger after what Evergreen (Wah Tam Jueng) did to her (sort-of rape her )
She opened the safe , and took all the money , and went to find Roger at the Pearl of the orient .

They were struggling . tugging each other , as Wah Fu Yan was tipsy and wanted to hug Roger . She confessed to him that she loves him and wanted to elope with him.
Roger rejects and said it was all a misunderstanding .
Liza thought they had an affair.
Wah fu yan ran away and left the case . Roger safe kept it on her behalf.
Liza stumbled upon the case , and jump to conclusions that Roger had caused the death of Wah Fu Yan (she committed suicide by jumping down the building.)

Liza reported to Evergreen by making an anonymous call . Evergreen had his sidekicks to beat Roger real badly.

Roger was admitted to the Hospital , many press/reporters came . Roger asked Joel to admit his mistake , but Joel refused and caused a big scandal for Roger . Roger immediately lost all his fans .

Nobody visited Roger , Charmaine wanted , but Liza stopped her , to prevent Charmaine from getting bad press .

Charmaine shouted saying "Dai De Gor ! Dai DeGor (roger's nickname ) I will believe you even though no one believes you ! " (Aww , so sweet ! )

Roger heard her , but did not want to respond , as he did not want to drag her into the mess , he just muttered "Only you believe in me "

Susanna forgives Chris ,and bought him new guitar strings .

Pak Luo agreed to teach Charmaine the Carmen dance .

5. Charmaine Sheh and Moses Chan
After six (and counting) onscreen collaborations to their name, is it any wonder that Moses and Charmaine have been besieged with rumours that their romance has transcended off-the-set? Besides their most recent partnership in Beyond the Realm of Conscience, they are due to star together in two more upcoming dramas Heaven and Earth and Can't Buy Me Love.

The gossip mill has been in full force thrusting their love lives in the public eye especially the alleged love triangle between Charmaine, Moses and his rumoured beau, Bernice Liu. Both women have been was outraged by the ceaseless speculations: Charmaine abruptly cut short an interview and Bernice stormed out of a press conference. On the other hand, the men have been having (or taking) it easy: Moses has yet to blow his top, while Charmaine's rumoured boyfriend, Kevin Cheng, has lied low with a couldn't-care-less attitude to the whole ballyhoo.

Reel-to-real chances: 25%. We know they look good together but doubt sparks are going to fly between Moses and Charmaine anytime soon since they've both got one leg in their respective relationships with their longtime rumoured partners.

The below is the translation of Next Tv Mag Award :)

The first time I saw Charmaine Sheh was in 2002 during the 12th annual Next Magazine Awards. It was the first time I participated in the awards and the first time she was nominated. From that moment on, I would see her at least once each year.

After several years without seeing each other, it’s no surprise if you don’t know me. However, Charmaine is different – after seeing her at the awards show for 9 years straight, the feeling is like eating moon cakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival or receiving red envelopes during Lunar New Year – a very familiar and natural feeling. I have a lot of confidence that Charmaine would know that I work at Next Magazine, so wouldn’t need to go through the awkwardness of introducing myself. What would be embarrassing is if it’s been 6 years or 6 months since I last saw a person and all of a sudden get to see them again, but not knowing whether they remember me or not – having to figure that out is difficult.

Well, not more difficult than collaborating with Dayo Wong in "You’re Hired". As one of the forerunners in stand-up comedy, it is difficult for a ‘normal’ person to partner up with him to make people laugh without being overshadowed. Or perhaps bearing the series "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" on her shoulders is more difficult? With all the female characters in the series – each one unique and challenging to portray – Charmaine’s character Lau Sam Ho is the most simple, naïve, and honest…how did she make her character stand out? “It’s hard to be a good person. The character is so ‘good’ that it’s a little beyond belief and can be easily ‘rejected’ by audiences because they are not able to relate. I agree that the character Lau Sam Ho doesn’t really ‘stand out’ – the emotional transformation she goes through internally is not very apparent; compared with the other characters whose ‘changes’ are more emphasized, it is difficult for her to leave a lasting impression on the audience.”

Even more difficult is that some audiences feel the series is ‘too similar’ to Korean series "Jewel in the Palace", which makes overcoming all the comparisons to Korean actress Lee Young-Ae even harder. In fact, avoiding accusations of ‘copying’ the actress is already very lucky. “The only thing I can do is to try hard to portray the character with as much detail as possible. As a person, one’s attitude toward different people around them will undoubtedly be different for each. No matter how ‘good’ Lau Sam Ho is, there are different levels of ‘goodness’ – looking at the character from different angles will make her more three-dimensional.”

Looking through old magazines, it is noted that Charmaine’s facial features and physical attributes have not changed much over the years. What has changed – her status. Nine years ago, she was like a witless young girl – today, the experience she has garnered over the years is more than enough for her to take on the responsibility of ‘leading the new generation’ to success. “ I wouldn’t really say that I’m ‘leading the newcomers’…it’s just that there have been more opportunities to collaborate with newcomers. Actually, this has been the feeling the past few years already.” It’s obvious that a TV station is not an office – in a normal office environment, if you were promoted to a position ‘overseeing’ staff, it would be a cause for celebration; here [in the TV station environment], the ‘pressure’ is greater than the ‘joy’ of being promoted.

Many fa-dans have chosen to get married and have children as they’ve felt the time is right; Charmaine herself probably hopes for a different type of life as well, however she has decided to wait at least another year. So in other words, there will be a year’s worth of ‘rumors’ still to come. Taking on the challenge of being ‘in the running’ for the Next Magazine Awards 10 years straight, she will have to rely on the 2 heavily anticipated series "Can’t Buy Me Love" and "Heaven and Earth". “For me, 10 years will be very meaningful and will be a goal that I really want to achieve. However, I’m not too concerned with ratings – rather, I feel that being able to satisfy the inner spirit from the process of making these series is more important. I am especially looking forward to the series "Heaven and Earth" because the storyline will be very different – it will talk about how my husband in the series dies in the mountains and his corpse is ‘shared’ by his friends in order to survive. The theme of ‘cannabalism’ is different yet at the same time has a more ‘mature’ feel. This type of ‘new’ experience [in acting] is what I’m really pursuing at this point in my career.”

Every person, as a year passes, also ‘ages’ by a year – eliminating others and being eliminated is inevitable. It’s not necessarily a bad thing…like dead water that gets stuck and goes nowhere – that’s the worse. Who I am referring to is not Charmaine Sheh, who is constantly seeking to improve herself and has set very clear goals for herself; rather, I am referring to myself – someone who just lives day by day, letting whatever happens, happen.

Who Are They Based ?

This article can be found in May 2006 .

Pearl of Orient is a musical drama using the 60's and 70's era as the backdrop. The story revolves around a group of popular singers in the nightclub. The characters are loosely based on some famous singers during that era and portrayed by Liza Wang, Roger Kwok, Charmaine Sheh, and Lai Lok Yi etc.

Roger Kwok will be singing
Roger's character is loosely based on a popular singer Ching San, who joined Liza's troupe after his popularity fell. In the story, Roger portrayed Ling Fung, who was nicknamed [Crooner with a Thousand Change], therefore he'll be singing and dancing a lot in this series. To prepare for his role, Roger kept playing the oldies in his car. He has no problem with dancing as he practiced annually for TVB anniversary show. He also like his costumes in this series, especially his suits which are tailor made for him by famous labels.

Charmaine Sheh stuttering role

Charmaine will be portraying a pure girl singer - Xun Lan, loosely based on singer Yau Nga. However, her character stutters in the beginning. Charmaine: "There's a scene where I was auditioning in front of Liza, to hide the fact that I'm stuttering, I picked a Russian song. Even Liza character doesn't understand what I'm singing. However, the Russian language was so hard to memorize. I have to refer to cardboard while singing; that was very difficult to film."

Liza Wang as singing troupe leader
Liza portrays Kam Yeen, who is the leader of the singing troupe. When she was young, Kam Yeen was popular songbird. Her image will be based Sandra Sin and Chopsticks Sisters. Liza: "I didn't use my personal accessories for this series. The company provided all the costumes. Even though I was from that era, I was slimmer back then. Plus, I couldn't find them back, so the company will be providing."

Lai Lok Yi pretending to be Beatles
Lai Lok Yi will be portraying modern era singer; Hui Weng Hong. His images are loosely based on Beatles and Sam Hui. "Because the era is around 60's to 70's, I re-watch some of Beatles performances and learned simple dance steps. I have to wear long wig in this series, and they always blocked my view so I have to swept it aside."

When she woke up , her face was swollen !

Charmaine was discharged from the hospital and went back to Liza's home .She saw her 'love' flowers and was very happy.

He wanted to teach Sharon , but Sharon on that lesson , did not want to learn O'Carol and Law-wei was dismissed from the spot .

Roger and Paul set up a scheme to get rid of Charmaine ( as they want her to 'wake up' from her dream of loving Roger ) and roger wanted to revenge from Liza .

They asked Charmaine to learn how to sing a Russian song , so that Liza won't know that she is a lisp.
Then at the last minute , Law-Wei 'accidentally' pours coke on Liza and she goes to the toilet
to tidy herself up and heard Charmaine singing .
After registration of Charmaine as Liza's pupil , Liza found out that Charmaine was a lisp after calling her 'master' (LOL)

Liza was very angry . Susanna ,Chris ,Mimi were more kind .
Liza asked Charmaine to climb the steps for 2hours , without eating !
She obediently did what she was told to do .

She begin to practise tongue twisters using wooden corks . She broke every one of them .
Because of this , Liza forbid Charmaine to eat . Seeing this , Susanna ,Chris & Mimi was heart broken and secretly gave some food to Charmaine .

Charmaine did not want them to quarrel because of her and left . Law-wei saw her and stopped her . He told her that next time she could sing on stage with Roger (what a lie ! )

Law-wei came up with a trick , to trick Charmaine , to find out the truth .

Glittering Days Episode 8

The episode started with Liza going to the police station to assist with the fraud investigation.

Nim Cho stole all of Liza's precious stuff including the only photo with her son & herself . She was devastated .

The Star of Orient competition :
- Many singers were being 'ding' out (ousted )
-Only one caught their attention
-Chris ! Singing a english song .

He told Liza to keep it a secret from his mother (Susanna ) . Liza agreed and told him that he was doing a great job. Back home , they had a heart-to-heart talk , and Liza broke down. Chris was sad and played the tune she hummed to her son years back.
She fell aslept after that .

They had dinner and Susanna asked Chris to find a summer job related to the course he is studying . Chris agreed , but he did not applied as he was involved in the singing competition.

Roger met up with Liza at the congee store and warned her that Nim Cho is not her son and not a good person. Liza was furious that Roger knew it days before and did not tell her .

She accidentally made the pepper 'spill' and the particles got in contact with Roger and he got a mild allergy.

Back at Roger's home , Charmaine made the family remedy for Roger but roger politely declined and applied some cream . Paul came home and was very elated ! He said that he could collect the money for the sale of the land in the village, Charmaine told him to pass the money to susanna . Paul looked glum .

Roger was shocked to discover his socks had holes in them . Charmaine came and said that "Dai De Gor , next time don't buy these songs , they're not washable . They are easily torn apart "

Roger was very angry but did not show it and said that the socks cost alot .

Paul went to collect the money and saw Law-wei . Law-wei asked paul to keep it from Roger and Paul agreed . They went to a night club and Law-wei gave fake horse betting tips . Paul took them seriously . Uh-oh !

Charmaine helped to mend the socks at the middle of the night ,and Roger just came back from the night club . He told her not to fall in love with Roger . He knew , it was obvious.
He kept warning her that they come from 2 different worlds .

Roger lost the horse betting and came home to make a big fuss . Law-wei was not guilty and said that it was Paul's fault . Roger came to know the sale of the land and was sort of angry. Charmaine learnt about the money had been lost to horse betting. She was really furious and ran out of the house .

The show continued from where it last ended .
Recap for the last ending :
- Someone stole Roger's cuff link
-It was Nim Cho
-Nim Cho peeped at Fei Fei , and dropped Roger's cuff link at the changing area.
-Everyone accused Roger .

Sheung Siu came in and talk to Roger and told him that blowing up the matter will not do him good. Roger agreed not to call the police , even though he is really innocent.

He went on stage to perform as usual , but all the dancers avoided him as they thought he was the pevert who peeked at Fei Fei .

Back home, Paul was pushing a cupboard to block the door. Charmaine asked why , and he replied about the incident and it has been so many years since meeting Roger and did not know what he had become.

Charmaine said Dai De Gor (Roger) will never do this and believe in him . Paul immediately knew that Charmaine had a crush on Roger and told her to give up as they are both from different worlds , but Charmaine said she was tired and went to sleep.

Liza found out Paul was following them and asked him not to disturb Susanna .
Paul said he felt guilty and wanted to give some money to her .

Roger was sort of a manipulative person , he went out with other boss , and made Sheung Siu see the value in him . At the dinner , Roger boldly asked a raise of 15% in everyone's salary , making Sheung Siu really made !

It was Nim Cho's Birthday and Liza wanted to celebrate it grandly for him . She wanted a family photo and they waited for him to come back .
He did not after several hours .
A door bell came ,
It was the police men ! They said that Biu-gor was a con-artist and he had lied to Liza , one of his victims .
Liza fainted , she was in shock !

The episode started showing that Roger recalls his biological mother loves to hum him a tune , which is the tune Liza hums to his so-called son !

It then shows us that Charmaine went to buy congee for Roger .
Just then Liza & her so-called son , Nim Cho shows up and ordered congee too .
Nim Cho added pepper and Liza immediately says that he's allergic to pepper and did he forget it .
Nim cho quickly explains that he was too tired and did not notice , how LOL / blind can liza get ?!

Liza switched her pot to Charmaine's pot , and roger ate the one that had pepper .
he was having fits due to the pepper allergies !
So yeah , you know who the real son is now !
LOL , poor Charmaine , having to take the scape goat blame & Roger for eating the congee .

The first in TVB who got double actress awards , is a huge success .

Her father past away , when she was young , her mother at that time was still pregnant with her little

When she first started acting , she was very raw , and had a chicken voice .
She changed , and was determined to improve her acting .
Not long , in 2001 , her acting improve leaps & bounds in Country Spirit , merely with 3 years ,

Charmaine has a high EQ . Facing paparazis everyday , she always have witty comments to counter them back .

& recently , she's spotting a short hair-do , beacuse of her drama , Heaven & Earth , where

At Oscar's , there was a man called Kwan Gor , who was a regular , he asked Tze King to drink alot of beer , but Susanna helped her to drink , but Kwan Gor was all touchy touchy about Susanna so she poured the beer over him.
The manager was so angry and did not want Ha Fei to perform at his night club anymore .
Liza went to find him and found out that he was meeting his mistress , she called his wife , and pretend that she was helping him to keep it a secret from his wife .
His wife asked him to sign up a year contract with Ha Fei, hahaha !

Passer-bys recognised them as the shanghai 3 golden flowers .
They were surprised that people still know them as it was over 20 years ago!

Liza was really angry with roger as she had thought that roger had caused her to lose her son once again.
Liza went to find Biu-Gor again to give him more money to find her son back,but susanna had doubts about him .

Charmaine finally made her brief appearance (but cute ) in GD ^^

Roger kept on showing is dive-big-star airs , that he wants to rehearse before performing.
The whole band was very unhappy with him , and together with FeiFei , they tricked him .
When performing the real act , the band suddenly went very fast , then slow , and stopped .
Everyone thought he could not continue ...who knew , that Roger had real abilities !

they were really dumbfounded, LOL , it's like way to go roger !

Feifei was super unhappy that she could not embarrass Roger .

When Roger & his brother received a letter saying that their land in the village could be sold ,they went back. Who knew that the whole village opposed to the selling of the village to the government. Lo-wei was disappointed as he could not get money.
Charmaine made her debut appearance , Ah wong told her that Dai-de gor (Roger ) came back,she was excited . You can tell that Charmaine had a crush on Roger ^^

She rushed/ran through quickly , but stepped on a plate (is it ? ) of flour , slipped , and knocked into a woman sifting flour, her whole face was covered with flour ! hahah hilarious sight ^^
Roger " Do you think thsi is a opera? Go home and bath " (he did not know it was Charmaine )
Charmaine quickly hid her face , she did not want roger to know it was her .

When charmaine left ,a bunch of illegal foreigners tried to escape , by luck Roger knocked them down , he was the hero of the village ,LOL!
Liza ,coincidentally , was too waiting for her 'son' with Susanna

Episode one - No signs of charmaine yet .

Their group was not a popular group , "Ha Fei " When they were performing no one bothered to listen or pay attention ,which is rude :/
To get a better place to perform ,
they had to play mahjong with the night club's wife , and lost money to her . (on purpose )

The nightclub's wife was really very arrogant. Liza , just swallowed it , as she really wanted

her group to perform at the Oscar's

Their dream was fulfilled , but the met Roger , they did not know he had to rest 10 minutes before the show and they disturbed him.

So a squabble begins , LOL .

Mimi forogtten to bring the props in ... everyone was panicking , so she saw a box that had no one names on it , so they just took and wore it ... who knows it's roger's !

They must be fated , hahaha (& yes , they seriously are )

Roger showing his "big-star-diva-attitude/airs" said that he does not want to sing anymore and just leaves .

We also learnt that he became a singer after winning a competition .

Liza lost her son , way back , like 20 years ago , so she went to the temple to ask for her

luck/fate in finding her son back. The fortune teller said she had chance , and asked her to do more good deeds , like giving joss-sticks money .

She lighted up a lantern for her lost son , the fire must keep on burning to represent that he's alive and healthy , it's such an irony that roger comes and step out the fire , haahah !

Doe it represent something ?

Maybe it hints us that roger is actually the son , so it lights out (okay, fine we know it already hahah , but maybe it does represent something )

But , from then on , Liza hates Roger to guts .

Glittering Days (Traditional Chinese: 東方之珠) is a TVB period drama series broadcast in November 2006. The series is shown to celebrate TVB's 39th Anniversary.
The plot takes place post 1967 to early 1970s. While the story is fictional, the atmosphere replicates the mandopop club scene in Hong Kong. The series played a number of mandopop songs that originated from Taiwan. As much of the Hong Kong club scenes were heavily dominated by mandopop music. Many of the sets and TV charity shows were televised at the time, and recreated for the series.

Gam Yin (Liza Wang) plays a former renowned Shanghai singer along with (Susanna Kwan) that make the "Three Golden Flowers". In the description of the story, World War II broke out at that time, Gam Yin was separated from her son. Years later, Gam Yin was a teacher for a singing group in a Hong Kong bar. The prominent singer of the time, Ling Fung (Roger Kwok) and Gam Yin meet, but they do not get along at all. Every time they meet, something happens. Whether it was an argument or a fight.
Chu Yuk-Lan (Charmaine Sheh) is Ling Fung's childhood friend who had a crush on him ever since. She makes her way out of the village side to find him, but there is something with her voice. When they first met, Lan was from a walled village in New Territories who seemed woefully uneducated and naive about everything. Lan started off as Gam Yin's student. Due to Ling Fung's pride, the two have difficulty getting together, with Ling Fung's singing career in the middle. Eventually Ling Fung would experience a reverse of fortune. Ling Fung would end up selling sugar cane for a living, while Lan became the popular singer. Someone informs the police with indications that Fung is a swindler of love and money. The chief investigator chases this case until the death and because of this, Fung can no longer continue working in the musical world. At this time, Fung accidentally finds out that the person who informed the reporter was Yin! Later, Yin finds out that her long lost son was actually Ling Fung all along...
